In preparation for the upcoming visit from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, PUA’s Faculty of Engineering is actively working toward programmatic accreditation for several distinguished programs. These programs include the Computer Engineering Program, Petrochemical Engineering Program, and Mechanical Power Engineering Program.

Within this framework, the Training and Awareness Committee of the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit organized a series of awareness lectures for faculty members and teaching assistants. These lectures, delivered by Prof. Dr. Mona Othman, Advisor to the Dean for Quality and Development, focused on quality and accreditation standards as well as the specific requirements for the field visit.

To ensure accessibility and continuity, the sessions were recorded and uploaded to the Blackboard platform, with special access links provided to all participants. This step aims to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of accreditation requirements and standards, fostering a collective commitment to achieving the highest levels of academic quality and ensuring successful program accreditation within the faculty.
