Providing a Stimulating Academic Environment

PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy continues its efforts to enhance international relations and leverage global expertise to equip its students with exceptional knowledge and innovative educational approaches. In collaboration with the Agency of Francophone Universities (AUF), the faculty hosted Dr. Mahmoud Soliman, a distinguished Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Dr. Soliman delivered insightful lectures as part of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Design courses for the Pharm D and Pharm D Clinical programs. The lectures, titled “Introduction to Computer-Aided Drug Design and Discovery: From Simulation to Wet Laboratories,” aimed to foster a stimulating educational environment that encourages critical and creative thinking among students.

The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, strengthening academic and research collaborations between the two universities. This initiative marks a significant advancement in pharmaceutical education at Pharos University, opening new avenues for international cooperation in scientific and research endeavors.
