Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, PUA’s Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, paid an official visit to Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Company. Dr. Etman was warmly received by Dr. Eng. Mohamed Abbas, Vice President of Administrative Affairs Sectors, and Eng. Mohamed Etman, Director of the Training Department at the company.

The visit featured an introductory tour of the company’s sites and student training facilities, during which discussions were held on enhancing field training mechanisms for university students. These discussions aimed to ensure students gain maximum practical experience to better prepare them for the competitive labor market.

The company also presented potential areas for cooperation with PUA, including expertise exchange between the two institutions. Additionally, the possibility of company employees participating in training courses provided by the university—particularly those offered by the Faculties of Engineering and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence—was explored. At the same time, university students from the Faculties of Engineering, Financial and Administrative Sciences, and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence were encouraged to take advantage of the training programs provided by the company.

This collaboration underscores the mutual commitment to fostering practical knowledge, enhancing skills, and supporting professional development for students and employees alike.
