As part of PUA’s Faculty of Dentistry commitment to its societal role and responsibility toward vulnerable groups, the faculty participated, alongside several other PUA faculties in a medical convoy to Mohamed Ragab Nursing Home in Alexandria. The medical team consisted of faculty members, interns, and a nurse from the faculty, who conducted medical examinations for the residents and referred some cases for further treatment at the faculty’s outpatient clinics.

Additionally, the team provided health awareness to the residents about the importance of maintaining oral and dental health. Prior to the convoy, coordination was made with the nursing home’s administration to assess the needs of the residents. The satisfaction of the home’s management was also evaluated by the social workers there to ensure effective cooperation and a commitment to serving the community.
