PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation recently held a workshop on Preserving the Environment and Recycling. The session commenced with an introduction to waste recycling, featuring a video that showcased the machinery utilized in recycling facilities.

The workshop emphasized the importance of utilizing solid waste instead of discarding it, highlighting how recycling can help conserve natural resources, reduce production costs, and minimize waste disposal issues. Participants learned about various types of waste, including organic waste, paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum, iron, industrial waste, agricultural waste, and construction and demolition waste.

The event drew active participation from many faculty members, teaching assistants, and students, fostering a collaborative atmosphere focused on environmental awareness and sustainability. This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices and educating its community on the significance of recycling and environmental conservation.
