Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) places great emphasis under the integration of students with the community and the enhancement of their roles in community service. In this spirit, PUA organized a visit to the Ali Bin Abi Talib Association, featuring students from the Faculties of Financial and Administrative Sciences, Arts and Design, Languages and Translation, and Physical Therapy.
During the visit, students engaged with children by presenting gifts and toys, as well as organizing a variety of recreational and educational activities. The Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences facilitated educational sessions aimed at boosting financial awareness among children. Through games and storytelling, students introduced fundamental concepts related to saving and managing money in a simple and enjoyable manner.
The Faculty of Arts and Design conducted artistic workshops that encouraged children’s creativity through drawing and coloring. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Languages and Translation implemented interactive activities to teach children basic words and phrases in an engaging way. Additionally, students from the Faculty of Physical Therapy provided health tips and simple exercises to promote physical well-being among the children.
This visit not only brought joy and happiness to the children but also reinforced PUA’s commitment to community service and the promotion of cooperation and humanitarian values among its students.
