Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Acting Vice-president for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design held an engaging student meeting at the Russian House in Alexandria, featuring the Russian Consul, Arseniy Matyushchenko, and Prof. Dina Abdel Salam, Director of the Liberty Center for Creativity. The session was skillfully moderated by Dr. Hoda Al-Saati, a journalist from Al-Shorouk newspaper.

During the meeting, the Russian Consul highlighted opportunities for joint collaboration, focusing on potential activities and events that could be organized between students and the Russian Cultural Center. He discussed scholarships for students wishing to study in Russia, scientific missions, and job opportunities available in various fields.

Further, Prof. Dina Abdel Salam outlined the Center’s activities, emphasizing opportunities for student exhibitions, intellectual seminars, and practical workshops led by renowned professors and artists in the realm of plastic arts. She also underscored the importance of student participation in these initiatives as a means to enhance their creative thinking.

The meeting concluded with Dr. Aya Fathy, a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Design, presenting on the historical connections between Egypt and Russia regarding creative thinking, from ancient times to the present. To commemorate the event, students took photographs with the Consul, creating lasting memories of the productive discussions and opportunities explored.
