Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) places a strong emphasis on fostering community engagement and enhancing students’ role in community service. In line with this mission, the university organized a visit and medical convoy to Mohamed Ragab Nursing Home, affiliated with the Red Crescent. This visit aligns with the PUA’s humanitarian initiatives, aiming to promote social solidarity, provide in-kind support to the elderly, and bring comfort and joy to their lives.

Further, students from the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences took part in the visit, spending quality time with the residents, sharing conversations, and exchanging stories that created a meaningful connection. This initiative highlights PUA’s dedication to encouraging volunteer work, strengthening social bonds, and spreading compassion across community segments, especially toward the elderly.

This visit also forms part of PUA’s activities supporting sustainable development goals and its commitment to social and humanitarian endeavors, emphasizing the importance of providing comfort and checking on the well-being of the elderly.
