PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation has recently participated in the 2^nd “Your Way to College” conference, held at the Hilton Green Plaza Hotel in Al-Zahraa Hall. During the event, the Faculty delivered a comprehensive presentation led by a group of faculty members, introducing attendees to the Faculty and its diverse departments, including English, French, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese Department, and the newly-established Linguistic Engineering Department.

The presentation was specifically tailored to address high school students, including those following the IGCSE and American Diploma curricula. The event saw a significant turnout, with approximately seven thousand students and their parents in attendance. The attendees engaged actively with the conference, gaining in-depth insights into the Faculty’s offerings, departmental specifics, and academic systems.

Building on the success of this event, the Faculty is set to host an orientation day on August 14 at PUA’s Lighthouse Theater. This upcoming event will provide students with an opportunity to visit the Faculty’s premises and gain a more thorough understanding of the programs and facilities available to them.
