Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Omar Ghonim, Dean of PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design, the Faculty organized a workshop titled “Recycling Paper into Artworks.” This workshop saw enthusiastic participation from students in their preparatory year (first semester).

During the workshop, students were divided into several groups. Each group was tasked with creating artworks by combining and pasting colored paper strips onto boards. The workshop aimed to encourage creativity and promote environmental sustainability by demonstrating how recyclable materials can be transformed into artistic creations.

The workshop moderators provided guidance and support throughout the activity, and many of the students’ works were highly praised by the supervisors. The positive feedback and high level of engagement from the students led to a strong demand for the workshop to be repeated in the future.
