PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design organized a workshop on Abstract Art. The workshop was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shaima Khudair, Assistant Professor in the Graphics Department. During this workshop, Dr. Shaima is the idea of abstract art, and that the performance depends on abstract shapes and models that are far from resembling figures and visuals in their natural and realistic form. In addition, abstract art is characterized by the artist’s ability to draw the shape he imagines, whether from reality or imagination, in a completely new form that may or may not be similar to the original form of the final drawing, while staying away from geometric shapes. The workshop attracted the interest of many college students to attend and benefit from its exciting and important topics.
