Marking the launch of several meetings for students of PUA’s Faculty of Engineering, the Dean met with the senior students, department heads, and general academic advisor. This meeting aimed to listen to their problems and suggestions regarding developing the Faculty and the educational system.

During the meeting, the students raised some of the problems they faced during their studies at the Faculty, such as academic advising and some problems with registering courses. The students suggested hiring industry experts to the graduation project discussions as a form of marketing the Department’s graduates. This suggestion was positively received by the attendees.

Meanwhile, other students suggested establishing a psychological support unit in the Faculty, and increasing the number of elective courses. The Dean, however; responded to many of the problems raised, promised to consider many of the suggestions. He also stressed the necessity of expressing students’ opinions and presenting them through questionnaires, or through direct contact with the Faculty’s administration.
