Speaking is an art that comes through constant perseverance. An individual aiming to be a good Public Speaker should put efforts in terms of authentic content creation, facing the crowd with confidence and maintaining a pleasant body language. It also requires influencing the audience with the best possible content which not only teaches the target audience but guides them for a practical outlook. It is the most necessary requirement in workspace, educational settings as well as for personal and professional development. My talk will comprise of structuring the content in the most precise manner for better clarity and efficiency. It will also focus on communication aspects, developing powerful ppts, creating a powerful impact on the audience by gaining insights from Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences (2002) that mainly aims in emphasing usage of different intelligence-based curriculum in language classroom. Various activities, tasks will be instructed specific to Linguistic Intelligence which on practicing will eventually help in improving speaking skills.
Ms. Shynu Philip is an Assistant Professor of English at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. She holds a Masters Degree in English and Communication Studies from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, and has completed her Under Graduation in Bachelors from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. She has also published Scopus indexed research papers in Springer recognized Journals. Her goal as a teacher is to cultivate critical thinking and to develop a love for language in students.
