The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology of PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology, attended a scientific conference entitled: “5^th annual conference of laboratory medicine: Bringing the future of health care“. The conference was honored by the presence of the Dean, Head of the Medical Laboratory Technology Department, numerous faculty members, and teaching assistants.

 

The Dean delivered a scientific lecture entitled: “Long noncoding RNA and cancer: A paradigm to be solved“. While the faculty members, teaching assistants, and Department students displayed scientific posters that showed the most important and latest research published in the most prestigious scientific journals.

 

The conference moderators, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Head of the Central Department of Laboratories, and Director of the Laboratories Department of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria Governorate, praised the excellence of the scientific research presented and the active participation of students.

 

At the end of the conference, the attendee were given certificates of attendance and memorial photos were taken.
