Joint Workshop with Aristotle University

PUA’s Architectural Engineering Department is dedicated to enhancing the intellectual and scientific development of its students while keeping pace with evolving architectural thought locally and globally. In this context, Dr. Engy Naguib, the department’s International Relations Coordinator, organized a joint workshop with Aristotle University in Greece, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abdel Maqsoud, the academic supervisor of the department.

This workshop was honored by the participation of Dr. Paraskevi Pantliadou, a Professor of Architecture at Aristotle University, alongside the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Fakharany and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mona Naguib.

The workshop comprised several scientific sessions in which students were divided into collaborative working groups from both universities, facilitating the exchange of scientific and intellectual experiences aimed at developing innovative design proposals. Additionally, the workshop included field visits to various archaeological sites in Thessaloniki, Athens, and Vergina.

The participation of twelve students from the department, along with graduate students and alumni, significantly contributed to enhancing academic communication and fostering knowledge exchange among all participants.
