PUA Visit the Naval Hospital

As part of PUA’s commitment to providing top-tier training opportunities for its students, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, conducted a visit to the Naval Hospital. The visit began with a strategic meeting with the hospital director and directors of various clinics and specialized departments to explore avenues for enhanced collaboration. Discussions centered on expanding field training opportunities for university students and incorporating practical training for courses tailored to health specialties.

The visit included an extensive tour throughout the hospital’s modernized and well-equipped departments. The delegation observed state-of-the-art diagnostic radiology devices, advanced adult and pediatric intensive care units, cutting-edge operating rooms, dental clinics, and specialized facilities for catheterization, cardiac, and orthopedic surgeries. The remarkable infrastructure and advanced technologies showcased the hospital’s capacity as an exemplary training site for health sciences students.

At the end of the visit, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement to facilitate student training across all specialized departments of the hospital. This partnership reflects the university’s dedication to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications, ensuring its students gain hands-on experience in real-world medical settings.
