Conference’s Inauguration and Opening Speeches

PUA’s first International Conference on Arts and Design officially kicked off under the theme “Future Challenges for Arts and Architecture in the Age of Information.” The opening ceremony, marked by the national anthem, set a solemn tone, reflecting the spirit of national pride and commitment to intellectual advancement.

The opening session saw the presence of many distinguished attendees, with Prof. Dr. Nourhan Fanaki delivering an insightful speech. She highlighted the crucial role of the conference in advancing scientific research, fostering innovation, and enhancing the development of arts and architecture. In addition, Prof. Dr. Zeinab Demerdash, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design and President of the Conference, addressed the audience, emphasizing the university’s commitment to hosting such significant events that bridge the gap between researchers and encourage the exchange of experiences with both academic and research institutions.
