Pharmaconex 2023 International Exhibition and Conference
PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy is keen to attend and represent PUA at international forums. Accordingly, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Faculty’s Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, led a delegation that included a number of faculty members and students to attend Pharmaconex 2023 International Exhibition and Conference held at Cairo and Giza’s Exhibition Center.
The event included more than 250 exhibiting companies from more than 20 different countries, along with over 7,200 visitors. The companies participating in the exhibition varied between companies producing active and inactive pharmaceutical raw materials, medical devices, and production machines, in addition to pharmaceutical companies.
The Faculty’s delegation took a tour of the various pavilions of the exhibition, where they conversed with representatives of various pharmaceutical companies. In return, the students benefited from the valuable and up-to-date information provided by the companies regarding the latest trends in pharmaceutical science and its modern technologies that are beneficial to the patients.
In addition, the delegation attended some lectures held on the sidelines of the exhibition. A workshop consisting of several lectures was devoted to sterile preparations and their requirements. At the end, the students expressed their pleasure with this opportunity, and the extent to which they benefited academically and personally from attending, and participating in scientific discussions.
